Love SDVoE and IPMX. SDVoE is so close but lack of open control // setup interface / API means I can’t use two different branded SDVoE systems together which defeats the open standard in my view. Why lock them away from each other if they could be compatible?

Over the weekend, a group of AV pros gathered on Twitter to talk standards. When SDVoE was mentioned in the tweet above as having a “lack of open control / set-up interface” (apparently, barely anyone noticed), considering the mantra of the SDVoE Alliance, Gary thought this would be a good chance to address a few misconceptions about the organization on his videocast. Tune in to this Rants & rAVes episode for a conversation between Gary and SDVoE Alliance President Justin Kennington.
