Washed Gods. Washed. Never Washed Up. This was a busy news week. We had to bring in reinforcements. Our friend Amber of the Amberland podcast stopped by and kicked it with the “The Gods of The Pods”.

Da baby is under fire for homophobic comments he made during his set at Rolling Loud. We talked about the fallout we anticipated due to the social media storm he’s in.

Simone Byles recently backed out of specific events in this years Olympics due to mental health concerns. All of which we attribute to the media and the toxic environment it perpetuates.

The US Olympic Basketball team has had their work cut out for them this year. Starting out shaky with countries like France. No commemorative “Dream Team” merch this year.

Frito Lay is back in the news cycle with another story about the Ingram family. They’re story is one of many we’ve heard since we found out about the strike.

There’s been a city wide “Mask Mandate” in Atlanta from mayor Kiesha Lance-Bottoms, who seems to be in a silent war with governor Kemp. They’ve both been using the media to air out each other’s grievances.

And last but not least, after a sold out listening party at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium here in Atlanta, Kanye West has yet to release his highly anticipated album Donda. The rescheduled date is fast approaching and Yé has been holding out in the stadium until it’s finished. He even popped up at an Atlanta United game.
