Raphael Roettgen is an investor and venture capitalist whose firm E2MC Ventures focuses on space businesses.

He is a well-respected space and finance professional, having authored a renowned introductory book on space business and hosting a popular industry podcast. He has over twenty years of experience in global financial markets at investment banks and hedge funds, and was also a fintech entrepreneur in Brazil.

A lecturer and alumnus of the International Space University, he holds degrees in Finance from the Wharton School and in Machine Learning from PUC-Rio. He also holds the CFA and FRM charters.

He is a German and Brazilian citizen and fully fluent in German, English and Portuguese.
