Episode #52. Rapper Demi Day works as an assistant minister at Emmanuel Baptist Church In Winston Salem, NC, as well as assistant director of community engagement at Wake Forest University. Her passion for rap began as a child, with influence from Ludacris, Missy Elliott, Bow Wow and Lil Romeo. 

Day just released her first EP, PLANS, which is an acronym for Perpetuating Life Agendas NonStop. On this episode of Gate City Live, she performs three songs from the release: 1) Be Like You, 2) Shame, and 3) Suitcasing, which is about following your path.
