There are a few things in Christian circles that stir debate on a regular basis and one of those is thee subject of the Rapture! There are many views regarding all aspects concerning the Rapture from the timing of when it will happen; i.e. Pre-Trib (Before the Tribulation), Mid-Trib (in the middle of the Tribulation), and Post-Trib (meaning the Rapture will occur after the Tribulation). Confusing Huh?
Add to that the ones that do not believe in the Rapture at all, saying the word Rapture is not even in the Bible. Hopefully this podcast will shed some light on questions being asked regarding this Christian topic.
For those of you that may not be familiar with the Christian idea of a Rapture, here's a brief definition of what that term means. Certain Christians believe that in the "end times" the church (Born again Christians) will "Raptured" or caught up, snatched away, by the Lord Jesus himself to meet him in the air. In first Thessalonians the Apostle Paul used the Greek word "Harpazo" which means to snatch away concerning the church around the time of the Tribulation. The English version or replacement of the word Harpazo is Rapture.
