The Gospel for the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ tells of Jesus speaking about the necessity of eating his flesh and drinking his blood. Graphic language that would warrant a "PG" rating. But graphic language that wonderfully reveals God's desire to be in a "holy communion" with his people. The homily is based on John chapter 6, verses 51 to 58.
