Guest Eleanor Boyle is a Vancouver-based educator and writer who focusses on sustainable food.  A long-time journalist and college instructor, she has several degrees including in Psychology and in Food Policy.  Lately she has been researching WWII , and has become intrigued by the idea of rationing as a way of managing consumption in difficult times.
