In the Cherokee community there is a creature that has been born from fear. Now we are human so we have plenty of fears, but the one in particular that our cryptid is born from is the fear we have of death. This being is a shapeshifter that takes the form of a raven in order to search for its next victim. Once that victim is found then all bets are off.
