As has become customary for this podcast, I am cursed to lose recordings of memorable boss fights. In this case, the party had a terrifying rematch with the lesser Eldrazi titan "It That Betrays" at the heart of the hedron temple. At the same time, they released a greater elemental who was trapped there, which was lucky as "Omnath" then aided them in the battle, which was very satisfying this go-round and involved zero frogs.
The party returns to the strip mine and are met by some of their griffin riders, who have been lent some pterodactyls by huatli. When pressed, she reveals that some sun empire soldiers are “helping” on their ship.
sinead the serra ascendant monk went back to the party's ship. Jace decided her behavior was “inconvenient” and “suggested” she be more accommodating. She began acting all wandavision with her son, Nemo.
Some cultists took up residence, led by a deathrite shaman and his grave troll muscle. He offered to solve the party's problem for them (hogaak will emerge and decimate the land, but not in a way that inconveniences you). He leaned on the fact that he is from ravnica, and a disciple of szithis, a prophet from many eons ago. What could this mean? Evidently, time being screwy in this dimension provides unforeseen complications for the party's timeline.
