At this point I've written off the entire practice of uploading these old recordings entirely. You can hear all the players, but nothing from the DM. I have no idea why only my mic isn't working here. I suppose the universe just hates me. Here it is anyway for posterity.

From what I can glean from this recording, the party visits the floating library of alexandria. Many laughs were had that day, including a stella home-made meme provided by player Jevin. Here are my notes from that session:

Library of alexandria- a floating structure on the sea. This palatial library will open only for a spellcaster who has not expended any spell slots. Contains many magical tomes, possibly including the manuals of stat boosting that have since recharged.
an ancient library, but when you enter the world becomes immediately silent. when you try to speak, a line of text appears above your head that that "says" what you tried to say. detection is hampered because of the inability to hear. Sound-based spells and effects are negated. However, the ancient library also ensures translation is coherent across all languages, and you can read any book no matter what's written, including previously indecipherable texts you bring into the library.

Some highlights include:
vali finding a book from the future detailing his life story and untimely death.
a pack of chupacabras adapted to hunt in this soundless environment.
johnny getting left behind.
