In these ‘Raw bite’ episodes of my podcast, I’ll be selecting my favorite moments from previous episodes of Real & Raw.

In order to bring this perspective into your life and business, you have to keep that positive attitude and develop a growth mindset. It means that you take every opportunity with open arms, that you believe you can do anything you put your mind to and that you are willing to work hard for what you want.  

Positive affirmations are a powerful tool as they can help improve your confidence and help you become better at a certain activity or skill. When we believe in ourselves and when we are confident in our own capabilities, it allows us to view and feel less threatened by anything. We become more confident which then boosts our performance.  

We don't have those constant reminders or pieces of evidence, but that is what our brains crave. Our brains want evidence that just closes that feedback loop that tells us, yep, I'm doing something worthwhile. This is the right thing and something I do on an ongoing basis, says @alice_benham. When I have a testimonial, a nice message or someone says yes to something, I get a screenshot and put it in a folder, so when I have the very frequent wobbles, I can be like "no, this is why I'm doing it, and it's worth it!".  

There are times when we all feel like not being able to deal with those tough situations that just keep getting in the way of all the things we love in our lives. It's almost like we forget about all our accomplishments and everything good that we've done. It can be due to so many different things related to being stressed and under pressure. But those aren't permanent conditions. They're temporary, and just like everything, it will eventually go away. What we can do to help ourselves feel better, we can learn to practice positive affirmations as they help us overcome negative thoughts and self sabotage.  

Whether it's putting post-it notes around the house, repeating positive affirmations in your head or reading your testimonials or nice messages, whatever works for you. It's important to feed you brain with constant reminders and you can use them in any situation where you'd like to see a positive change take place in your life.
