The FDA and Primal Pet Foods are recalling Raw Frozen Primal Patties for Dogs Beef Formula with a lot number of W10068709 and a best buy date of 5/22/2023.  This pet food is contaminated with listeria monocytogenes.  Though listeria rarely causes disease in dogs, the animals may be carriers and pass the bug on to humans.  Handling this contaminated dog food or contacting surfaces on which it has been placed may also trigger an infection in humans.  This pet food was sold in Maryland, Georgia, Texas, and British Columbia.  If you bought this product and have it in your freezer, do not feed it to your dog and dispose of it.  For information about refunds, call Primal Pet Foods at 1-800-742-1312.
