Grace is a central component of our relationship with God. Pastor Ray Bentley says it keeps us from having to strive to please the Lord. It's not about our effort. Christianity is not about trying. It is about trusting every day of your life. You're standing before God has nothing to do with what you do. It has only to do with what Christ has done. It's not about what you do, but it's about receiving God's grace.

Is it true? God only loves good little boys and girls, and they're the ones who go to heaven. Pastor Ray Bentley says being good is not the issue. So often the church has said, Hey, look, if you want to be part of the group and part of the club, you need to kind of clean up your act. But the truth is, God does love bad little boys and bad little girls and those who are unholy. He loves them so much that he sent his only begotten son, and made the church always stand out of the way of what God wants to do.

Pastor Ray Bentley shows us how Saul of Tarsus, after his conversion, spoke boldly for Christ to the Jews. Saul could prove from the scriptures Jesus was the Messiah. And when they realized that they couldn't debate, they couldn't argue. They responded by. We got to kill this guy. Now, whenever your response to an argument that you disagree with is violence, what does it prove that the person you're arguing with has won the debate spread?

Sometimes we wonder why we have to go through certain things hardships, tragedies. Pastor Ray Bentley says it may be God's way to equip you for special service. I believe that there is a unique gift and ability. There is a special ministry that you and you alone can fulfill that God wants you to fulfill. But despise not the days of God's preparing you for that ministry.

Pastor Ray Bentley reminds us, When Jesus becomes our Lord, it means he takes control over our lives. There is a new person in charge, and that's what it means to be a Christian. They say, now, Lord, I'll go where you want me to go. I'll do what you want me to do. When you give up control of your life as a Christian, it's usually that you're giving up your fear, your loneliness, your guilt. And that's what happened in the life of Saul on that day.
