"The Jazz Hole’s main focus today is the brilliant NYC native pianist and composer Ray Gallon, who just released his wonderful debut recording “Make Your Move” on Cellar Live featuring David Wong and Kenny Washington. Gallon has been on the scene for more than three decades, playing with top jazz artists in studios and stages all over the world. During this episode, Ray talks about his music, his sidemen, his influences and mentors and also about why it took a bit longer to release his first album as a leader. You will also get to hear music from “The Prospector”, released by three established Boston-based musicians, bandleader and bassist Bruno Råberg, saxophonist Allan Chase and drummer Austin McMahon.
