Actor Ray Winstone's credits range from Hollywood blockbusters like The Departed, Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, Noah and Beowolf, to British cult classics Quadrophenia, Nil By Mouth and Sexy Beast, to family favourites The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and Rango. These roles have seen Winstone work with a host of acclaimed directors including Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Anthony Minghella and Ken Loach.

At this special Life In Pictures interview, the actor spoke to Boyd Hilton about his East London childhood, why Gary Oldman is the best director he's ever worked with, and why CGI-heavy productions like Beowulf are his "favourite way to make movies."
