These chapters are the ones in which Tarisai finally comes face-to-face with Dayo for the first time since attempting to kill him, and then she has to see her mother who is being kept prisoner by the Emperor in preparation for her execution. To be extra cruel, he plans to use Tarisai as his tool of announcing The Lady's fate, but Tarisai has plans of her own.
