The Rays lost a series for the first time in 2025 with a 6-4 loss at Globe Life Field to the Rangers. It was their second loss in the three game series in the Lonestar State.

Taj Bradley got touched up for a bunch of runs, but it was Mason Montgomery taking the loss after giving up a two run home run to Wyatt Langford when it was tied at 4.

Brandon Lowe hit his team leading third home run in the loss.

Tampa Bay (4-4) is tied for third in the American League East and plays AL West leading Texas (7-2) this afternoon before heading home.
