The Rays (34-15) got rained out of Saturday’s game against the Yankees and will make it up when they return to the Bronx in September (double-header now scheduled on September 22nd). Tampa Bay STILL has the best win percentage in Major League Baseball (.694) after Friday night’s win over New York (30-22) and since Atlanta lost to Washington, the Braves (36-17, .679) fell further away from first place.

Tampa Bay’s record on the road remains 15-10, and away from home against the American League East the team is still 5-2. Overall, the Rays are 24-4 against the A-L and 14-2 overall against the division.
