The Rays (36-20) took the first series of the homestand with a Sunday win over the Angels.

Tampa Bay is 21-6 at home (14-1 against the American League). The Rays are 9-0 at the Trop vs. the A.L. East and 5-1 vs. non-divisional A.L. teams so far.

Game one of three with the Detroit Tigers is this evening and Tampa Bay won’t head to Detroit for the road half of the season series until late August. Overall, the Rays are 26-9 against the A-L, 12-3 against non-divisional A.L. opponents, and 14-6 overall against A.L. East.
