The Rays (40-25, .615) notched win number 40 when capping a sweep of Boston at home earlier this week. While the Rays are a perfect 12-0 against the American League East at Tropicana Field this season and 24-9 at home overall, they’re a little less on the road. Overall, Tampa Bay is an even 16-16 away, they’re 12-8 against the A.L. when visiting, but perhaps most importantly to the opening road set this weekend, 2-1 against the Angels a couple weeks ago at the Trop.
