The Rays are off today, April 13th. It’s the 4th time this season Tampa Bay has been off since the season opener and the first time it’s been on a Monday. The Rays have had one Friday off-day (the first on March 27th) and two Thursday off-days (April 2nd and April 9th). Last year, between games one and 162, the Rays had 23 days off, which included days off during the All-star break.

Tampa Bay travels on the road for six games and then back to Tropicana Field for three before the next off-day of the season, a Thursday (April 23rd, OFF DAY #5). The Rays start the road trip with three on the south side of Chicago against the White Sox. They’ll host the Chi-Sox in July and August. The next three games following that will be in Pittsburgh, which will be the only three against the Pirates this season. The Rays then return home to host the Reds for the only three games with Cincinnati on the 2026 schedule.
