Evan Lovett began experimenting with filming daily current events and posting to his social media on January 3, 2022, his Grandmother's birthday. After some trial and error, L.A. In A Minute was born shortly in April of 2022.

Lovett is a relentlessly curious, genuinely passionate native of Sepulveda, California. After graduating with a degree in Business from UCLA at 20 years old, Lovett followed his true passion for journalism, taking a gig at the L.A. Times as a sportswriter before ultimately making his way to the private sector in the technology field. During this period, he married his wife, Irene Lovett, a native of Huanusco, Zacatecas, Mexico. The two have a son, Felix, who is the inspiration behind L.A. in a Minute. LA IAM shines a positive light on the fantastic city of Los Angeles as Lovett explores and discovers fascinating & unique tidbits about the city's history and residents.
