RBTP43 is titled: "Mourning the loss of Todd Gurley" because we received breaking news that Todd Gurley (& Clay Matthews) were going to be cut while we were in the middle of recording this episode. The news broke 45 minutes into this episode, but prior to the breaking news, we discussed: the new CBA, the free agency frenzy, roster shake-up, managing the cap and the trade rumors that were led by Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks.
It's hard to imagine a team being 2 years removed from losing the Super Bowl releasing players who were key contributors to their appearance. But, the NFL is a business over anything else. And the Rams need to find a way to get back so that they can continue to prove to their fans that they're committed to winning. We'll also address our outlook to the 2020 season and quickly discuss the logo drama (before it was officially released).
