In today's class, we learnt about applying our hearts to wisdom and the high-importance of really "getting" or "understanding" the concept of:
- heaven bound faith (HBF) and
- earth bound faith (EBF)
and how failure to grasp these concepts have put many road-blocks and caused many bad situations for Christians in general.
The Pastor who walks into a Lion's den conflating HBF and EBF together ends up being killed and eaten by the lion.
If this concept is not understood clearly, we would continue to confuse "trusting God" and "testing God". Jesus said to Satan, "Thou shall not put the Lord Thy God to the test" ... when Satan was trying to tempt Jesus with what pretends to look like "trusting God".
This is the practical life application concepts for matured Christians to understand and grasp. Other psychological bad-health like repression, denial, rationalisation etc ... were also discussed and also how to know the difference between "lying to yourself" and "speaking in faith".
