Match week 2 was full of ups and downs. Brentford are riding quite the high after battering United at the Community stadium. City and Arsenal both continued to take maximum points, and both sit atop the league with six points. Chelsea and Spurs played a to a contentious 2-2 draw, with both the referee and VAR being called into question. The managers for both sides saw red cards after the game had finished. Liverpool rescued a point at home against Crystal Palace after having been reduced to ten men.
