Short-term fundamentals—like weather, storage, and daily LNG flows—can shift quickly, while medium- and long-term trends are becoming increasingly forecasted demand driven. The current surge up in prices is in part due to  colder forecasts, but also in large part to LNG daily exports of natural gas recently bursting through previous daily records to new heights.
