Jordan Gatewood - aka Jwoodz - is a faith-based Rap artist.  Originally from Los Angeles, CA he moved to Texas in 2004 when he was 10 years old. From there he grew up in the DFW metro area and discovered his passion for creating music to help inspire people to pursue their dreams and never give up. His latest album Elevated lays out a unique storyline, illustrating what it takes to journey through the hardships in life. In many ways he has been ahead of the curve, as we are just beginning to see a shift in the mainstream focus towards more conscious and faith based music. For example, Kanye West's release of "Jesus Is King" in late 2019 was the first of it's kind in many ways, particularly for the artist himself. This amongst the already established faith based music movement stemming from the Dallas area has opened the door for unique and talented artists like Jwoodz to create an impact.
