AACAP President Gabrielle Carlson, MD, continues the theme of the “other pandemic” of the crisis in child mental health and access to care. Dr. Carlson discusses with Dr. Matthew Biel the current crisis and the spotlight on mental health in kids to re-imagine how we might change the system to address certain issues including workforce and training needs. They further discuss how COVID has changed the public’s understanding of all the ways that schools support children and adolescents.
