We’re excited to welcome you back to our You & Five-O Podcast for 2021! Our hosts, BJ and Harmony, catch up since our last recording and talk about how 2021 is going so far. They discuss our goals for the podcast this year, including topics like police reform, being both Black and a police officer, as well as the defunding the police narrative. They encourage our listeners to be open to these tough conversations and find a way to approach it from a place of love. They also briefly discuss the events at the Capital earlier in the month, as well as the idea of policing and the way the system could be reformed; which includes approaching policing from a place of compassion and humanity; ideally dictated by the community and their needs.
