Dr. Sigalow wrote American JewBu: Jews, Buddhists and Religious Change. We touch on the influences Buddhism had on the American Jewish community and what was birthed by these two communities blending. We highlight the life of Julius Goldwater who had a significant role in helping Japanese Buddhist who were sent to internment camps in the 1940's in the US.
