Re-releasing this important episode on mental health with Dr. Nausheen Yunas on the occasion of World Mental Health Day.  Dr. Yunas is a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Woodbridge, Virginia.  She completed her bachelor's degree in psychology from George Mason University and her doctorate from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University.

 

Dr. Yunas specializes in working with adults and adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation, life transitions, and relationship problems. She has over seven years of experience and has worked in private practice, community mental health and government settings. Her approach to psychotherapy is genuine and collaborative. She has had training in cognitive behavioral, family systems, and psychodynamic approaches. Dr. Yunas also has a strong interest in mindfulness and self-compassion approaches and employs aspects of all of these approaches in her clinical work.
