For the next few weeks, we’re going to be taking some time away from producing new episodes of The Modern Recordist, to create space for some other projects and behind the scenes stuff we’re trying to tackle through the summer.

During the down time, we’re going to be re-running segments of some of the most popular episodes of the podcast. So this is your chance to catch an episode that you may have missed before, or perhaps pick up something new from an episode you’ve already heard.

This time around, we’re again going back quite a bit – towards the beginnings of The Modern Recordist – back to EP: 009

This is the first half of EP: 009 with the Nashville based rock band Aave. Host Jon Stinson did some mix work for the band on their debut release “There’s Nothing” and on this episode you will hear him talk with the band a little about that process, as well as many other creative ideas and topics, such as writing and collaborating.

Check out Aave at http://aaveaaveaave.com/ to get the latest on upcoming releases, tour schedule, and connect with them on social media.
