Tina Waldrom speaks with TV Co-Host James Macpherson about Reaching this Crazy World. The transgender discussion, with respect, highlights this crazy world discussion. James is immersed in the current affairs of the day. Four nights per week he is seen in frank discussion as he co-hosts, The Late Debate for Sky News. A practicing Christian, James explains why he follows Jesus and gives some frank and honest opinions on Reaching this Crazy World.
In his book, Notes from Woktopia, James refers to a female patron of Korea Town’s Wi Spa in Los Angeles. She was shocked to find a naked man in the changeroom. After complaining to the staff, she was told the man had a right to be there as he identified as a woman. In true James MacPherson style, James points out the obvious and the ludicrous side of this scenario. One of the biggest challenges for the Church is to be an effective witness in today’s culture. James gives some concise insights and views on potential ways forward.
In this episode, James talks about the brewing tensions in this crazy world. He is not afraid to state the obvious and at the same time, discuss how the Bible informs culture. Christians need to have a clear understating of the times they live in and how they can respond. Showing love, kindness and respect must be the response. What love, kindness and respect look like is something James discusses in this interview. Sitting on the fence, giving ambiguous answers and being polite is not the way forward according to James. Truth will always be truth and it needs to be spoken if Reaching this Crazy World is a possibility.
