For our second bonus episode, a type of episode that we like to call #ReactPod, we discuss a book entitled Together: Reclaiming Co-Leadership in Marriage by Tim & Anne Evans. We outline the perspectives of the authors’ ideas of the original marriage design in which man and woman are both commanded to lead, dominate, and cultivate the earth. We discuss our reactions to the book (hints, the title ‘ReactPod’), theological rootedness of this perspective, and implications for this model of marriage as it relates to more common complementarian views, as well as egalitarian models of marriage.
