We have become too dependent on the visual media and not the written word. We have become too reliant on our favorite "news" outlets for our information. It is critical that we expose our minds to a wide range of articles and commentaries, particularly those that aren't congruent with our beliefs and ideologies. And then it is critical that we think, analyze and come to our own conclusions.
