“Reading 9 to 5” On Dolly Parton’s Birthday In Chattanooga

For Dolly Parton’s birthday on Friday, the Chattanooga Public Library and Signal Centers are celebrating from … you guessed it: 9 to 5.

“Reading 9 to 5” is a Dolly-themed takeover at the Library on Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM that highlights literacy and the singer’s Imagination Library - a book gifting program that mails free books to children from birth until they begin school in participating areas.

Reagan de la Torre is volunteer coordinator at Signal Centers - and coordinator for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Hamilton County.
