As the title of this podcast says, this conversation focuses on the diminishing culture of reading books. While reading was a means to gain knowledge, it probably is an outdated and inefficient medium today, and therefore has diminished in the era of the internet. However, like a candle that reinvented itself through its aroma, symbolizing a quiet moment or a romantic expression, it is, perhaps, time that a book needs to reinvent as well. Reading a book is no longer a mere means to gain knowledge, but it is a means to also slow down, experience the world, cherish the art and ponded, wonder, wander and amaze oneself!
