Lauren Cosby of OhThe PlacesYouRead works as a child life specialist by day and runs reading retreats in her free time. Lauren's day job can be heavy at times, and books have not only helped her escape and feed her love of traveling, if only to a fictional world, but have also helped her develop deeper empathy. Lauren and I had a beautiful conversation about the power of books and how her retreats have brought together women from all walks of life and given them a chance to form friendships and have an experience that feels like summer camp.
