Janet Allan discusses proposals to 'rewild' dingoes in Southern Australia. In a wide-ranging article Janet attacks the ides of dingoes providing a trophic cascade in Victoria, observes that dingoes were themselves in troduced into Australia, and not native sepcies, and that the evidence of them controlling 'pest' species is unfounded.
