The FDA and Albertsons now announce the recall of Ready Meals Chicken Salad Quad and Chicken Salad Sandwich Club Tray products prepared at certain Albertsons and Safeway stores.  These products contain the undeclared allergen tree nuts in the form of cashews.  The affected products were prepared and sold at Albertsons and Safeway stores in Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota and Wyoming.  If persons with tree nut and cashew allergies ingest these products, they could develop serious and life-threatening allergic reactions.  Do not consume these products and return to the point of purchase.  For additional information about this recall, contact Albertson’s Customer Service Center at 1-877-723-3929.
