Previously on RTR, Our heroes arrived by magic carpet back at the magical ruins of the Lekk empire. Using they key they found in the Green Mother's cell they discovered the secret entrance to the caverns beneath the ruins. They entered a room with six distinct doors, each calling to a specific member of the party. Ahloni and El'undar faced the trials of their door...

Now we rejoin them as Rurik faces his challenge, and we will see if Sanguina, Arrin, and Senno can muster the courage to face what The Grove has in store for them.

Previously on RTR, the Erinyes Devil Estravelle revealed herself, taking bodily possession of the Tiefling Aurora.  Elurinn is on Fire, and Hammerlain returned to aide her city.  Before she teleported away, she gave two magic carpets to our heroes.  Now they fly through the skies over the Kymond countryside, heading back to the Lekk Ruins in pursuit of the devil they have been divinely charged to destroy! 

With Kaleva seemingly on the verge of possession, Hammerlain revealed the truth of the events that transpired 30 years ago.  Zenavieve Vernau had organized a deal with Estravelle the Erinyes to grant her daughter powers.  To prevent this unholy pact from taking place Hammerlain killed Zenavieve.  When Haarl showed up and demanded to know what was happening, The Green Mother seized the opportunity to take a stand and set him on fire while sending a message to all her followers, The Children Of the Seed.  Aurora dropped her façade and revealed her Tiefling nature to everyone and attacked the Elf Druid.  Now our heroes struggle to determine who is friend and who is foe in the heat of deadly combat!

Previously our heroes reunited on the road.  They hatched a quick plan to sneak some of the party, including the green mother, into the Vernau estate in Aurora's empty barrels.  Arrin used her divine sense to assuage Rurik's suspicions regarding the alignment of the green mother.  Though she turned out to be good natured, there was revealed an invasive evil in their vicinity.  Avoiding near disaster, they have made it past the guard and into the estate where they have now brought the Green Mother to a confrontation with Hammerlain.

Ahloni made his way back to Elurinn in search of Hammerlain but instead found an angry mob calling for the head of the Green Mother. The Jagmea (Catman) Nightjar snuck Ahloni back to the Lazy Bee where he met with Aurora, was able to send a message to El'Undar and inform the group to meet him at the Vernau estate. The rest of the team recovered Kaleva's deaf horse, Nutmeg, attached him to the cart of Lendar red wine and set off on the road with the Green Mother. The goddess Edan'Alastra appeared to Senno and Arrin and informed them of an evil Erinyes devil named Estravelle who is attempting to claim a mortal vessel.  She tasked the group with preventing the devil from achieving its' goals. While relaying this task to the group Senno murdered Zup with his hunting knife, an act punctuated with Rurik's Hammer. Ahloni took off solo back to Elurinn in an attempt to find Hammerlainn while the rest of the group stayed as protectors of the Green Mother. They solved some riddles presented by a pair of Jayko and won possession of some stolen wine and a ring.
