The New York Mets. Yup. All of it. A season the likes of which we have not seen in many years. Can they be fixed? We'll take a look, going all the way through all of it. Should be a really enjoyable conversation.

John Tavares and the New York Islanders. It has come to this... We'll know in about 36 hours for good if the Captain will stay with the only organEYEzation he has ever known. Cal is calm, Sanpete is... not.

Football season ended with a fantastic game filled with fascinating subplots before and after... so we'll lead off with hockey and the Islanders... Just kidding, we'll quick wrap the NFL season, talk about our Super Bowl sundays, and send Jets and Giants into the very short off season.

Islanders GM Garth Snow spoke to the media yesterday... it went about as well as it always does. Which is not good. Will the Islanders make a move? What to make of this team on the ice? And the Rangers look poised to sell off for the first time in a long time. Woud they deal with their hated rivals?

The Jets have a chance to get to 500 this weekend against a bad Bucs team. Should we be happy? Are we enjoying this? Someone tell us how to be fans! (kidding, please don't). The Giants are in a state of disarray that's, quite frankly, Jets-like. How the season from Hell continues to find new levels of it.The state of the NFL... the protests, the diminished quality of play, an entity that could be the only thing that could ruin itself.

The Islanders are 15 games in, and it's been a bit of a mixed bag. One thing's for sure though, Mat Barzal can play. Is Cal easing his way into emotional attachment?

The Yankees let Georgia Roddy go, and are looking for a new skipper. Sanpete asked a few of his Yankee fan friends who they wanted. The concensus was... uhm, dunno?
