For thousands of years the medical profession determined their own ethic condensed in the Hippocratic Oath. This oath states in part, “I will not give a woman an abortive remedy.”

Yet, over the last 50 years the force of government has raped the medical profession, forcing it to violate its code, and abortion is a symptom. Now the World Medical Association prostituted themselves with their newly revised Physician’s Pledge.

The pledge reads in part; “I will maintain the utmost respect for human life” eliminating the phrase “from the time of conception.” It further stipulates: “I will not use my medical knowledge to violate … civil liberties….”

Is it conceivable that, because abortion is viewed by government as a human right, by refusing to participate in it a doctor could be sued for a civil rights violation?
