Guest Bio - Sharon Jackson was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and proudly served in the United States Army, which brought her to Alaska in 1983. Upon completing her active-duty tour with the Army in 1989, she enrolled in Charter College where she became a Certified Electronic Technician.

In 2015, Sharon became a Constituent Liaison for US Senator Dan Sullivan specializing in Military/Veterans Affairs and found her role in assisting constituents to be extremely rewarding.  As she noticed major concerns on the state level Sharon felt compelled to run for Lieutenant Governor in 2018. Upon her defeat, Sharon was appointed by her Governor to serve in the Alaska State House of Representative for District 13 where she served with loyalty and worked with both sides on policies that best represented the people of Alaska.

Since leaving office, her primary focus is on alternative medicine where she witnessed people with debilitating, chronic illnesses now living a functional life that they thought was impossible.  As a stroke survivor, where the left side of her body was paralyzed and she lost her speech, Sharon was determined to get her independence back and recovered. She knows personally that there are different medical modalities that assist with healing. It’s time to Be Better by focusing on the health of our nation and stop managing trauma through expensive drugs and surgeries. She is determined to advocate for people to have options in their healing process.
