Here we are, the very first Real Chats episode for 2021 and boy, this episode couldn't be more apt even if we tried. Zoë Condliffe from She's A Crowd joins us to talk about gender-based violence and how real-world data is used to influence decision-makers and people of power. This chat naturally stemmed into a few topic areas, including:
- How empowering individuals to share their story creates a community and offers data that influence meaningful change.
- Progress is being made to close the gender gap however recent events (we're looking at you Canberra) shows us that there is still a lot to get done.
- There isn't one solution to address gender-based violence, meaning we all can contribute to reducing violence in our own ways.
