As a content creator/lawyer, I wanted to share my recent experience with the hit TV show "Suits" and their rejection of my request to use their content through fair use. I reached out to their team through the content ID claim process, with an explanation of how I intended to use their content within the boundaries of fair use, hoping to receive their permission to use clips from the show, that were already on YouTube, to critique. However, I received a formal rejection, without getting anything more than the rejection notice.
