Javier Pena and Steve Murphy were the DEA Agents assigned to Colombia in the 1980s for the purpose of bringing down cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar. Their story was chronicled in the Netflix series Narcos. Today they write, speak and consult on their experience and on drug interdiction efforts both international and domestic. They joined Tim to talk about Escobar and about how open borders impacts the effort to fight illegal and counterfeit drugs entering the US.
