I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.

Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

John 13:34-35

Real love is demonstrated not merely in the words we speak.

Jesus commands the disciples to “love one another” in such a way that others would know from their actions they were followers of Jesus.

This is a high bar to clear.

I hope others see in me the love of Jesus, but some days it would be probably hard to tell.

And yet, this is Jesus’ call to us.

To love like Jesus is the best evangelism tool we can employ.

Holy Spirit empower us to love like Jesus!
