Real Minority Women of Power and the Posers

Podcast 57

This week was full of video footage of two different types of women. On the one side, we have Candace Owens. A strong conservative presence who was shamed by New York’s 10th congressional district representative Jerry Nadler. The 2nd was questionable comments made by antisemite Ilhan Omar. Before we do a compare and contrast I would like to give you background on both women.

Candace Owens

Candace Owens is an American conservative commentator and political activist. She is known for her pro-Trump activism and her criticism of Black Lives Matter and of the Democratic Party. She is the Director of Communications at the conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA.

Confronting Jerry Nadler

Given Owens stands for conservatism she spoke this week before a House committee. While speaking she was asked to not call a member of the committee “stupid” by Jerry Nadler. If Nadler had taken time long enough to stop reading the Washington Post (yes that’s the paper in front of him), he may have actually listened to what she said.

So Ted Lieu is free to use an out of context clip from Owen and accuse her of supporting Hitler. This, of course, was not true, but after Lieu’s time, she was not given time to respond. Funny how that works. Owens was eventually given time and did clear the record. Why was the #metoo movement not mad at Nadler and Lieu for harassing a woman? It is all because she stands for conservatism.

African Americans and voting Democrat

Owens has argued that African Americans have a “victim mentality” and often refers to the Democratic Party as a “plantation”. She has argued that the American left “like black people to be government-dependent”. Owens has argued that black people have been brainwashed to vote for Democrats. She has characterized abortion as a tool for “the extermination of black babies”.

Just for your information, in the United States, the abortion rate for Black women is almost 4 times that of White women. On average, 900 Black babies are aborted every day in the United States.

Candace Owens on White Privilege

They’re always talking about white privilege. Who’s doing the best in America right now? Asians are doing the best, and no one wants to talks about why. You want to know why? Because they work hard. There is no privilege. The bottom line is that people have to work hard, and no matter what their history is if they want to have a productive future.

Owens on the Rise of those like Ilhan Omar

In 2018, Owens warned that “Europe will fall and become a Muslim majority continent by 2050.” “There has never been a Muslim majority country where sharia law was not implemented.” She suggested that the United States would then be “forced to save” the British.

Ilhan Omar

Omar was born on October 4, 1981, in Mogadishu and spent her early years in Baidoa, Somalia. After the start of the Somali Civil War in 1991, she and her family fled the country and spent four years in a Dadaab refugee camp in Garissa County,
