In this sermon series titled, Jesus Be The Name, we look at how the birth of Christ and how the naming of Jesus changed history.

Today's message titled, Real People Need A Real God, contrasts the rising power of artificial intelligence with the deeper truth that real people—with real fears, struggles, and generational patterns—need a real God. Through the stories of Abraham, Lot, and especially Joseph, we see how fear can cause us to quietly step away from God’s plans, yet God continually interrupts our “no” with His redemptive “yes.” The sermon connects modern epigenetics with Scripture to show how generational baggage is real, but God’s blessing outweighs it 300 to 1. In the end, Joseph obeys, names the child Jesus, and we are reminded that only a real Savior can bring real redemption.
